i am running dc bachman switches on my turnout about 5 in all and one is set up for dcc .i want to keep it simple on the plate before me. using dc power pack plann to up grade .should i line up my awitches singleyor as a blockBig Smile

Unless you plan to run different locos at the same time and unless your layout is on the larger side, you dont need to do block control, more so if you plan to go DCC.  If you are just starting the layout, now would be good time to get our bus and feeder lines all set up for DCC since it will work with DC as well.
