Can anybody please advise me when any article for HINGED duckunders appeared in our magazine? Any and all advice on the subject would be appreciated.

Go to the right hand column on this page and down to Search our Community.  Search for lift gates, swing gates and any other combinations of words similar to those.  You should get many answers.  Sorry I don't remember any off hand, but I know there are many.

For magazine articles go to the top of the page, the light gray line, RESOURCES, then Magazine Index.  That lists articles not only from MR but many other magazines.

The one thing you want to remember with any lift out or tip/swing gate, is to have a safety switch so that when the gate is open that track on both sides is dead, to keep your trains from taking a dive to the floor.

Good luck,

Richard

Here are mine and how I did them.  (Four of them)

Elmer.

The above is my opinion, from an active and experienced Model Railroader in N scale and HO since 1961.

(Modeling Freelance, Eastern US, HO scale, in 1962, with NCE DCC for locomotive control and a stand alone LocoNet for block detection and signals.) http://waynes-trains.com/ at home, and N scale at the Club.
