Sam, here's a step-by-step guide:
1) when logged into your photobucket account, the blue bar near the top of the screen has a green button that has "Upload Now" written on it.
2) click the green button. it will pull up a screen with another big green button saying "select photos and videos." click that
3) A box will pull up. you may have to move to your folder. If the folder is on your desktop (the screen when you turn on the computer), click the desktop icon. If it's in my documents, click there and find it (just keep going through folders until you get to your pictures).
4) Select your photos or videos (if you want to upload more than one video hold down the ctrl button (located on the bottom edges of the letter keys on your keyboard) and click on all your pcitures. Then click ok
5) You'll have a bar displayed while uploading that shows how far along your upload is. Once the upload is finished you can either click save and continue to album (it will be in a pale green box) or go below that and add titles, descriptions, and tags to your pictures. If you do that, click save and continue to album once finished
6) once you've clicked the save and continue to album, you'll be at your album home page. To upload a picture to a forum click this, put the mouse pointer over the picture you want. A box will display around it and there will be four boxs to the bottom of the picture. the bottom box contains a link with [img] at the front. click that box.
7) if the box changes to say "copied" go over to your post and right-click, then click paste, and whalalh, your picture will be posted when you hit the post button

Sam,
Don't feel bad, I have been out of the computer loop since before they were invented. Have asked my son to look at some of the instructions given, but he hasn't had time yet.
If someone doesn't answer this directly, go to the Search our Community box part way down the right side of this page. Not the search box at the top of the column. Then type in something like "posting photos" and you should get some threads to read. If you still don't understand them you can either ask a question as a thread or start a conversation with one of the folks that explained it in one of the other threads.
You do need a digital camera, my wife has one that I have figured out how to use. I'm sure I don't use many of the available features. Will be interesting to see how photos come out once I get set up to do it.
Enjoy the railroad, whether you can take photos of it or not.
Good luck,
Richard
Thanks Vince,

Well, this is what I got done this weekend:
I now have the frame for the industrial area I am planning. The spur with the three cars on the bottom is going to be a warehouse, the blue engine house is going to be the RR's shop (Which they rent out to other RRs to fix equipment), across from the engine house is a storage track, and the future line off the topmost turnout is going to be a coal dealer. Last track leading up across the main is a interchange with a Class II operator.

Nice improvement!
BTW, I'm about at the point where I can recognize your layout and "style" at-a-glance!

Great pictures guys.
I spent some time over the weekend on that famous 1/1 n3 layout in southwestern Colorado. Took a few good pictures:
We had a ball on the train and had a great breakfast at Jean Pierre's Bakery and Cafe in Durango (food so good it's worth the trip just to eat there).
Phil, I'm not a rocket scientist; they are my students.
Lee: Excellent!
Nothing for me to add this week... But another impressive WPF guys, keep it up.

Phil,
Great photos! Don't you just love the rocky mountains? Nothing like it.
Now, is that the Durango? At first thought, it was the Royal Gorge. But then I saw the D&SNG. I guess I should know, since I live in Colorado. OOPS!
