Kitbashing a particular passenger depot
Posted by NevinW on Thursday, October 7, 2010 12:19 PM

I am thinking about building a model of the LV&T depot at Beatty.  As always, my philosophy is why scratch build when you can kitbash at twice the time, effort and expense.  Don't ask me why but I have always liked kitbashing.  Perhaps that should be a topic for discussion.  But what I am asking is this:  Does anyone make a depot kit that could be kitbashed into this depot.  The website below has a couple of pictures of it.  It doesn't have to be exact as the depot is long gone.

Anyway any suggestions for a kit that resembles the Beatty depot?  -  Nevin

Here is another picture of it on Page 523 at the bottom of volume 2 of Myrick's book. Railroads of Nevada.

It seems like there is a kit (American Laserkits?) out there that resembles this depot but I can't find it.  -  Nevin
