Reading this thread I am surprised no one has mentioned what I thought was one of the most well known and biggest noise killers. Replace ALL the U-joints and rods with flexible surgical tubing.

BTW - This drive train with a Cary metal body will win just about any single unit "non-custom" pulling contest you can find to enter.

Yuck, they have a funny horizontal mount motor on the rear truck only. The don't pick up electricity well and stutter a lot. I've always wanted to get a B-unit and try two power trucks in it just to see what would happen.
