Oh what the heck thought I'd pop in my [2c] To use a Siberianmoism. I have seen the new Bush bus at my LHS the price was large enough umfortunatly to "gag a healthy maggot" $ 32.50 CDN.[:O] Nice but no thanks I'll stick to my trolley's. The fishbowl does look really good my only complaint other than the price is that in their infinate wisdom the mfr glued the floor to the body so a prying you must go if you wi***o add passengers[sigh] Don't really want to do that to a $40 model. I'm sticking to a couple of Jordans 40'd ford transit's ( closer to the layout time frame )One of them will likley have a close encounter with mt MTS snow sweeper [swg] Big Boy keep lovin your trolley's Rob

TrolleyBoy,

For passengers in the new Fishbowls, it's an easy matter to remove the body and insert passengers, just as we do on Rivorossi and Walthers Budd cars.

I'm sure that eventually these buses will wind up on Ebay and discount web stores. I still remember all of the $100 price tags of P2K locomotives just a few years ago. Now you can get the new for the $20 to $80 range.

Busses with under-layout magnetic tracking that move about your minature cities as they do in reality!! Wouldn't that be a "kick in the head"? C'mon forumers, use your imagineering. Let's keep this thread alive until we see a "workable" idea.

Look Everyone I got an idea, Now we all know that I have been talking about these buses that I have mentioned ,right? Well How about this that any company would be
glad to make them but they don't have to make the buses with different veriety of transit paint schemes. The buses will still be made but only untrimmed. You can make it yourself. all you need is the Transit paintscheme computer disc to pic which transit agency you want and It'll be assembled, How's that sound???

As I mentioned a page or two back, I would really enjoy being able to make HO scale buses move about on a layout's streets.

I saw a min-train display at a Hallmark store in which the train ran in a circle. There was a magnet underneath the train that was attached to a motor/arm assembly that swung around in a circle. Sort of made me think that it would be neat to have something similar for model buses and trucks.

I still believe that the ideal situation (unfortunately expensive) is for a Faller type of system.

GMC RTS 4's
Flxible Metros
Gillig Phantoms
