Great photos everyone!

I am still in the process of trying to move my n-scale layout, and a lot of it is now packed up, so this picture of the campground was taken about a year ago. Campfire (lower rigt) is a flickering battery-operated tea light candle (with "smoke" attached) recessed into the hillside. The barn roof is from an actual photo of a barn near here, "Photoshopped" to fit. There are "canvas" pup tents made from some of my wife's fabric scraps over a styrofoam form. The split rail fence was made from toothpicks cut and weathered.

Those hand painted stripes hold up well...  Not a bad job!

That campfire reminds me of an O scale modular layout... They had a smoke unit hidden under it to make smoke. It was pretty neat.

Okay, here is another photo of my newly painted engine.  Hopefully this is better.  Still bad lighting though.

This hobby really takes a different turn when you start getting really into custom painting your own equipment.  though I've just started and still need a lot of practice, but I've really enjoyed painting and detailing.

So far only on my diorama unless someone else has painted up one too.  Like I said, I think that the MRL theme on a GE engine looks great!  I've never seen the new MRL ACE's but seeing them in photos I bet they are wonderful too.  I hope so since I have 3 on order as soon as T55 gets them going.

Bob, right next to the reply button is a quote button.  Select the message you want to quote, clck on that bnutton, and the message will appear.  If the message has a lot of pictures, it is considered a good practice to remove the links to the pictures unless you are referring to a specific photo.  If this isn't clear, send me an e-mail and I will send you xome screen shots that may help.
