says it's been around since 2001, although I think the idea was mentioned in MR long before that. November has been "model train month" for the indutry for a long time, I think.

 A fellow model railroader has this set of trains displayed at the electrical contractor where we both work.

 

 

 

 

 

The cars are decorated for electric equipment manufacturers and suppliers, the locomotive and caboose were leftovers from the 70's Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

Re: World's greatest hobby is:  Stamp Collecting.  you may have noticed not a lot of model railroaders in Peru.   I would think MR is pretty far down the list on worldwide hobbies, I like model railroading.
