The cars are decorated for electric equipment manufacturers and suppliers, the locomotive and caboose were leftovers from the 70's

Ooooooooooh, a gen-u-wine Tyco Chattanooga. I thought we were trying to attract people to the hobby.

Re: World's greatest hobby is:  Stamp Collecting.  you may have noticed not a lot of model railroaders in Peru.   I would think MR is pretty far down the list on worldwide hobbies, I like model railroading.

says it's been around since 2001, although I think the idea was mentioned in MR long before that. November has been "model train month" for the indutry for a long time, I think.
