Newbies dragging back eight year old threads. Sucked me in for a few posts as well ....

I don't know if you have figured out the responses to your post yet but you have responded to a thread that caused a bit of acrimony. The thread is nine years old. There is nothing wrong with reviving an old thread, but in this particular case you have revived a thread in which there was some rather nasty differences of opinion. The MR forums used to suffer from a lot of severe negativity (to put it politely) but the moderators have managed to curtail all that nasty stuff.
If I can suggest, in the future, if you want to revive an older thread, read through the thread before doing so. If there are an abundance of negative posts we would all be better off if you were to just start a new thread. You are absolutely free to do so.
I'm not being critical of your post. I'm glad you enjoy your 5 axle locomotives.
All the best!
Dave
I'm just a dude with a bad back having a lot of fun with model trains, and finally building a layout!
And a good time was had by all

Wow, I had totally forgotten about this thread on here. Gosh, has it been almost 10 years? Time's flying by.
Funny part is, I've met the guys at TLT several times and now we're rather friendly about it all, even to the point of me fixing U-2-g's for them. Although Darren did try to (mock) strangle me when we were introduced. Weird how life turns out, isn't it? But the above thread is one of a couple that I posted to about the NH 5-axle C-Liner, and it's why I was "Darth Cutler" in a certain full-page ad in RMC a while back. I've been assured that the next time they run the 5-axle C-Liner in NH, it will be right. And since I'll be helping them with the QA, it better be!

Simple question:
Who is the better runner and puller? C-Liners by TLT or C-Liners by Life Like Proto 1000?
