I am currently using the Serial to USB connection to mess around with JMRI. Unfortunately my trainset is tucked in a corner and I really dont have room to sit with a Laptop for hours messing with JMRI.
Has anyone used the Ethernet to Serial adapter modules?
Since Ethernet has a max distance of 300ft, I figure I could route that anywhere I wanted to and mess with JMRIs Panel Pro and Switchboard settings.
