Function of "speed steps" feature in LokProgrammer
Posted by trnj on Monday, September 5, 2016 12:57 PM

The "speed steps" feature in the LokProgrammer "Sound settings" area seems to have no effect on engine sound "transition" despite different settings selected.  I have several LokSound 3.5 decoders (excellent!) but am puzzled re: this feature.  Any ideas?

I'm not sure about LokSound, but you need to enable custom tables for that sort of thing on Soundtraxx and MRC decoders most of the time for changes to have an effect. Try looking closely at the section on the engine speed step table in the manual. You would be suprised how easy it is to miss stuff like that.
