i saw this atlas trainman freight set and i been researching the engines that come with and i don't know if anyone gotten that train set but is it dcc 8pin ready? like to make it dcc you have to buy decoder with 8 pin socket.
If the loco in that set is the same one they sell individually, then it has the same mechanism and there is a socket for a standard 8-pin plug.
