ZIMO MX32
Posted by EduardoNogueira on Monday, February 25, 2013 5:37 PM

Hi!

I have for a few days now a ZIMO MX32.

The system is in german and I can't understand a single word of it... I downloaded the latest software from the zimo.at but there is no english option to install.

Does anyone know where I can download the english file?

Thank you!!

Eduardo

Will this do, Eduardo?

I googled "Zimo MX32 manual".  Sorry I couldn't find one in Portuguese for you. Big Smile

Thank you for the instructions manual.
But what I'm really looking for is the computer file to install english as the default language in the MX32 cab. :)

Sorry, Eduardo.  NOW I understand what you were saying before. Sad

There is a ZIMO-DCC Yahoo! Group that might be able to assist you.  You have to join first though.  On their main page they also list the ZIMO Agency of North America, which looks like it's based in Canada.  They should at least be able to tell you whether or not there is an English version of the software.

Hope that helps...

Let's wait... :)

Problem solved!! Big Smile

They sent me the english package from mrsonline, the USA Zimo dealer.

Everything works fine! Now it's time to learn how to work with the cab. It's my first time with DCC...

Thank you Tom for your help.

Eduardo,

Thanks for the update.  That's great news!  Now do keep in mind that smiling and giggling is perfectly acceptable behavior when you're first learning DCC.  Some of us still haven't stopped yet. Laugh

Eduardo, once you have a chance to play around and get familiar with your ZIMO, it would be great if you could post a review of it on the forum.  I think you're only about the 2nd person I know who has bought one.  I would love to see and hear about the features and I think others would be interested, too.
