I am new to "N" gauge and know the basic wiring. The DCC is new and I would like to have blocking signals with automatic start up. I don't know if this is possible. I wrote back quite sometime about buying two layouts and combining them. One was loaded with electronics, sound, and anything imaginable. I have totally stripped the wiring but would like to identify some of the pieces. I know that I have some of the glass tube light sensitive switches but I'm sure they have to go to a relay. I have all sorts of sound horns and apparatuses. This guy must have had young children because the relay is melted on one.
How do I include a picture with my posts? Perhaps someone can identify some of this tangle of wires from a picture. I also have some engines with electronic boards already installed but no idea what they are.
Start by going to www.photobucket.com and starting a new free account.
Follow the directions on the site to upload your pictures.
When you post here you simply do so as normal.
When you want to insert a pic just go to photobucket and open the pic you want to post.
When you open it you will see 4 selections on the side. Click on the link to the right of img code. The link will automatically be copied. Then right click and paste the link into your post. After that just hit post and your pic will show up.
