Zephyr Universal consist question
Posted by jkroft on Thursday, December 3, 2009 5:30 PM
Anyone else been having trouble with Digitrax Universal consisting? As I try to control a consist, another loco which is somewhere else on the layout and not part of that consist is moving. Kinda strange....

You either are using a consist address which is the same as that other loco, or that loco IS in the consist. Look in the back of the manual about OpSw 36 which will clear all loco addresses and consists.

Press "loco". Next key in the address of the rogue engine and press "loco" again. The address will be selcted.  If the Function and the MU indicator dots are lit, that address is in a consist.

To remove it, press the C/- button. The function dot wil remain lit. The MU dot will not be lit. The adddress is no longer in the consist.
