I am re installing a Rix twin coil switch motor in new layout, but cannot find the wiring instructions. I am not sure which set of contacts goes to the frog. Also, do I use DC or AC? Many thanks in advance. Andy Chandler

I'm just a dude with a bad back having a lot of fun with model trains, and finally building a layout!
Looking at my rix machines that were removed from my layout 17 years ago...The contact at the base of the actuating arm was wired to the frog in my DC layout. The other 2 wires on either side went to the far left and right rails of a DCC Unfriendly Shinohara turnout. There must have been gaps beyond the turnout, but I do not remember where.

That article calls for AC, I don't remember what I used.
