Rapido CP lightwieght coaches/sleepers ect.

With regards to the new Rapido models and CP, can anyone tell me if CP owned any of these Canadian Car and Foundry cars? One article I have read says they bought a few to bolster there aging fleet even though they were introducing there stainless fleet around that time. Another said they bought some from NYC and repainted them in the late 50s. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
