Well as of last week on February, 2007 Central Oregon Railroad & Pacific (CORP) (The rail road that took over the SP's Syskue line in 1993-95) took down their last Symaphores that were still in operation. As far as i know Corp was the last fully funtional freight Railroad to use symaphores, If there are any theres let me know.
Im not sure but I believe these symaphores were the ones put in during the Steam era. Well It was alot of fun watching those symaphores in action, but for now on they will just be a fun memory.
But we do still have a couple of the old orighinall bridges from when the line was originally built, (1906) So at least we will have those to remind us of days of old.
