Can anyone give me some advice on a model im building.I have built a clinker silo for my cement plant but i cannot find any details on the structure that sits on top.Some of these buildings are three stories high and i am wanting an opening on the side so i can put some details inside.I am aware that there would be stairs and platforms but going around what i dont know,any advice would be great.

Like any dry-bulk handling facility it's all about conveyors.

There are lots of different dry bulk transporting systems but the main workhorse is the continuous belt conveyor.
There would also be electrical cabinets for the level control equipment. Later years there would be dust collection with perhaps a baghouse and cyclone collector plus a fire suppression system (outside stand pipes and sprinkler systems.
Walthers has offered dozens of open and closed type conveyors over the years.

Hi i have come to a stand still with my cement plant build and was wondering if any of you can give me some help on a picture im going to post.The web site takes you to a selection of pictures the one one in the middle is the one in question.On the side of the clinker silo there are what appears to be three conveyors my question is does anyone know whaere they go to.Do they go to a clinker grinder.Heres the site.

The three cylindrical silos at the top are cement silos.
Correction: The three silo discharge conveyors droptheir load on a conveyor going south to a tower. I think in the tower the clinker gets mixed with additives from an adjacent storage hall. From this tower the clinker goes north to the mill and the cement silos.
