Another question about spine cars... Are the platforms long enough to deal with the variable king pin to lead axle distances possible in modern sliding tandem trailer carriages? It would be a terrible pain for the loaders as well as the delivery drivers picking up the trailers to need to adjust the sliding tandems every time the trailers are loaded or delivered. . Sorry to take the MU thread so far , but my curiosity got the best of me.
