I'm looking to model the NCDOT's Piedmont trains in HO scale and while I already have an appropriate locomotive, I'm unsure as to the prototypes for the trains passenger cars, and whether or not appropriate models are available in HO scale. I've included some pictures of the cars and was wondering if anyone could tell me more about them and whether or not models are available
Actually, the Piedmont isn't usually pulled by Amtrak Power. They have their own:
Here's a better picture of the cars. It might help someone find you some.

Thank you, I know the piedmont has its own power, I have a model of 1797 on my bench now. I just gave the photo as an example of the coaches in the train. Thank you for including more pictures
Hi, check this site below. At the bottom of the page is a group of photos listed by current car number and listing the lineage and car maker when available:

Mine doesn't move.......it's at the station!!!
So I have 2 of the NCDOT F59PHI's, but I haven't found the passenger cars.
I'm modeling the NCDOT passenger cars - using HO smoothside Pullman (Rivarossi) cars, and some minor modifications.

These I modeled from Pullman smooth-side passenger cars (Rivarossi). Had to do some patch and fill before painting. Created my own decals.
Thanks Steven, this worked from photobucket as "direct" link.
please remove my 2 previous postings without photos,
By the way, this "post" feature doesn't work on Firefox 50.0.1 on windows vista. I have to use Chrome.
Those are great. Would you be interested in modelling 4-5 more? I have one of the Locos but no coaches or much time to make some. It would be a great consist for the next Neuse River Show.
Are you interested in buying, or need a loaner consist for the show? I have sold a few, but still have 7 and painting a few more. I also built an F59PH with DCC sound.
You may want to drop those swing couplers and change them to body mounted couplers.
Also check the wheels and see if they match an NMRA gauge.
