I'm looking for an O-gauge diesel locomotive which resembles the images attached. The key element, other than body similarities (or kits to build as much) are two six-wheel trucks. Other than for accuracy, these would permit the model to operate properly on the aged model rail at the Newfoundland Railway Museum. Their present train, although appropriate to it's parent the Newfie Bullet, is not able to make the turns on the rails.
Info on the railway is here, and the train to replicate is probably the last one of the locomotive list, #938-946, GM Diesel Type C-C, works #A1834-A1842. According to another quick look around wiki, the train is a type GMD-NF210. I assume that must be the same as the preserved train in the photos.
I'm no modeler, so please excuse slips in terminology, my last modeling experience was as a boy in St.Louis. If I could find something close with the right body and trucks then there are a few in town who could make rights of the model.
