I would like to super detail a Russell snow plow from a Walthers kit 932-5759. This is steel sided plow with a build date of 1945. B&M W3738. I have searched the web and I have numberous B&M publications, but close up details are limited and interior cab views are just about non-existent. Any suggestions? Thank you.
Hello Jack, I happen to live in the same town where the W3738 is assigned; I have a number of pictures, but if you need specifics, I will go down to the yard and take pictures of what you need. The pilot house or cupola is a three window, not a two, so you will have to add a section of windows; the wings are full down to the ground, due to the B&M not using short switches; in other words, you have to close the wings at every switch; both sides are stenciled Nashua Yard; from the doors to the front, the interior has a kerosene stove on the left side; across from the stove is a utility box; next are two large pistons for the wings and on the right side is a large air tank; there is a short hallway and then a ladder that goes up to the pilot house. Let me know what info you need. Rick.
