If anyone is looking for historical or prototype information, then this is a great place to look.

It is the Library of Congress's American Memory Project. Click on architecture and landscape then search for anything railroad or industry related. Everything is digitized with many pictures, maps, diagrams, ect. I thought it was pretty awesome and I'm sure some of you will find it usefull.
