I cannot find some background info on HLCX 6225 (SD40-2 aquired from QNSL), in particular the date of aquistion and what date it appeared in service in it's HLCX paint. Athearn produces the model but have info on the history of this unit.

The unit was acqured new by the QNSL (Quebec North Shore & Labrador Railway). What else do you want to know?
