Question on availability of F9 in HO scale
Posted by modelbuilder on Friday, June 29, 2007 12:24 PM
I was looking for some photos of NS locos on the web and saw an F9 painted up in black with a white nose and gold lettering. The NS lettering was the new prancing horse scheme. Does anyone make this in HO scale? If not can it be easily made?

IIRC, that is a recent repaint for special service. Don't know of any models of it...Yet...

Pretty cool looking on an F unit!

Somebody has announced it for fall, but since I'm not interested in NS I didn't pay attention. I would guess Athearn or Intermountain. Start checking web sites.
