DCC: One unit, two gauges?

Ok, I have a legitimate DCC question this time.
My layout will have two gauges; HO and HOn30 ( N gauge track).
Can one DCC System control both, or will I need two systems, one for each gauge as they are really two independent sets of tracks.

nope, so long as you don't overload the unit, and that you don't number two locos with the same address.
