CadRail 8 Demo
Posted by Cannoli on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 1:55 PM

I've downloaded and installed the CadRail 8 demo on my laptop to evaluate it's use in planning my new layout. My laptop is running Windows Vista RTM Enterprise, CadRail seems to have issues with the new OS (I know... I know...).

The error I get is "Startup Failure 339 - Component 'GRID32.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid. C:\Program Files\Cadrail 8 Demo\CadrailSymbols.crl"

I've made sure that GRID32.OCX is registered and that the .crl file is present but the app still does not run. I haven't had a chance to load it up on XP which I have installed at home.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Try posting your question to the CADRail Users Group at:  http://groups.yahoo.com/group/cr-users/    This is an independent group but the owner of CADRail frequently monitors it.  Someone there may have hit the same problem.
