Bob:  As always, your work is outstanding.  I assume you model HO.... and was wondering what size ballast you use?

For ballast, I used "crushed" grey limestone. I find it much easier to apply than the WS stuff. As far as size. I mix both fine and medium grades.

Fantastic job!

 

Have you taken any Black and white photos of your work?  I would bet that with the right filter, you could honestly fool people into thinking that it's real.
