Trying to Locate an old Friend
Posted by CANADIANPACIFIC2816 on Sunday, April 16, 2006 2:33 PM
I am looking for the whereabouts of a gentleman who had done some custom painting and decaling of a few pieces of HO scale equipment. His name is John Julius and I think he is living in the Nashville, Tennessee area. The last known address that I had for him was in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

I did an internet search for John and I came up with a John S. Julius on Harness Place in Nashville. I think this might be the same individual whom I am looking for. Is there anyone out there who also has had some custom painting done by this same individual and can confirm his address for me??

I never actually met this gentleman face-to-face, but I met him through the Burlington Route Historical Society when I submitted an inquiry looking for someone who could custom paint a brass caboose for me.

Thank you!

Well, if you found one, give him a call. The worse that could happen is that it's not the right one, and he curses you out and tells you never to bother him again. Or, he could welcome you and strike up a friendship that could last for years. The chance is yours to take. Me? I'd opt for the latter... [:)]
