Kato 281 series "haruka" DCC decoder installation

I have a N Scale Kato 281 series "haruka" and am considering changing my entire N scale layout to DCC. Has anyone had any experience with this Kato set? I also have several other locos to convert, but I think with patience I shouldnt have any problems except for this one. Thanks for any help you can give on this subject.
