Has anyone else used this product for a winter scene. After trying different methods I am out of ideas to apply this stuff. As it stand this products sucks. I have tried what the people at woodland scenics said to try and with that it seems no of them have used this stuff to model with. I have used the scenic glue first then added the snow-it looks great, but after drying, it looks like spring and looks like garbage. I even tried applying another coat of scenic cement to apply another layer, and it got wores, it looks like my yard has been hoit by a massive metor shower here...lots of crators, and spraying it on tends to make it bubble and blow away. I need some ideas here, but I warn oyu about buying this stuff...its not what it needs to be

The Woodland Scenics Scenery Manual says to spray Scenic Cement down, sprinkle on the snow, and then spray Scenic Cement again. Try that.
By the way, it also says you can create drifts by brushing down some Flex Paste and putting the snow on that.

Have done what the manual has said and still gut a undesired effect. The stuff is hard to take off the tracks too. I followed that info-that led to the crators in the snow after applying the cement with a spray-even from far back. I think no one there tried this prodct out before marketing it-Now im faced with a week worth of track cleaning to model now in late fall rather than winter that I was hoping for

I've no personal experience with the product but might suggest trying a very fine mist when applying the second spray of cement. A fine mist and maybe a wetting agent could eliminate the crater effect.

If hard work could hurt us they'd put warning lables on tool boxes

Mine worked great! I sprinkled it over a tall mountain peak and left it as is...no glue. Stills looks marvelous. When it gets too dusty, I'll sweep it up and wash it, dry it, and relay.
