Modeling Trees Using Glycerine

A few weeks....or months ago....I read an artcile in one of the magazines.......probably one of the n-sacle mags.......which explained a technique for soaking Super Trees in glycerine which provided a more effective tree....anyone remember it from your reading........any assistance will be appreciated.
