I think it is very good that we have as many excellent DCC manufacturers as we do, with as many satisfied customers. I hope that the MRR market is big enough to sustain them all. No dount we will see improvements from all the vendors as they seek to develop their products and meet customer demands. As a Digitrax owner, I have followed the many threads prior to my decision to get Digitrax indicating how "complex" and "difficult to operate" the Digitrax throttles are. They responded with products like the Zephyr and the new UT4 throttles, to create systems that my 5 and 7 year old operate with ease. If it were not for strong competition from the likes of NCE and EasyDCC, I wonder if this would have happened? Anyway, roll on DCC development, I'm in for the ride!!!

I dunno, but I just LOVE it when peopel ocmplain about the features or lack thereof with the UT4. The UT4 was built in direct response to customer demands on the Digitrax message board on Yahoo. Digitrax solicited design ideas from the users, and after all the responses were in, the UT4 is the result. The fact that they are sold out as soon as any dealer gets them in stock is a good sign that they listened, and the people really did want what they got.
