Question1: How fast did UP's 4-8-8-4's go. A: 40mph B: 55mph C: 70mph
Question2: How many CO. owned the makeen motor car. A: 1, B: 2, C: 5,
Question3: Why hasn't the UP's challenger blown up due to ice yet?
Trick Question: Are all 4-6-6-4's steam?

1. C Although the way they wereused they didn;t getmuch chance to do it

2. A. Virgina and Truckee.

3. ???

Trick: Of course not. The PRR GG1 is a 4-6-6-4 wheel arrangment

Just guessing here, I didn;t bother to try and look up the answers.

#1. A, B, & C. Depended on where the engineer had the throttle. LOL However it was usually run with heavy freights at about 40 MPH. Top speed was supposed to be around 70 MPH.

#2. I know the UP had the maceen motor car but there may have been others.

#3. Hmm? Probably because it is not allowed to set with water in it when it is not fired up???

Trick question..? What trick, almost everyone, well if you know railroads, knows as rrinker has said the PRR GG1 was not a steamer but was a 4-6-6-4.
