Sorry, the picture doesn't show.

There's a post in the General Discussion forum about how to post pictures.  You will need a photo-hosting site like Imgur to actually hold the picture file, one that's visible to everyone.

Oh, and welcome aboard!  Welcome

Your first few posts will be moderated, so they won't show up right away.  Hang in there.  They just have to be sure you're not a robot.

Hi Craddock!

Welcome to the Forums!!!            Welcome

The thread that MisterBeasley refers to is a bit long winded, so here is a relatively quick synopsis. This sounds more complicated than it is. Once you have done it a few times it will become easy:

1. You need to choose a website to host your pictures. I use Imgur. It's free (at least for now).

https://imgur.com/

2. Then you need to transfer the photos that you want to post to Imgur. To do that, open Imgur, sign in, and then choose 'Images' under your user name. Select 'Add Images' and select 'Browse'. That will take you to your computer files where you can double click on the image that you want to upload. That should add the photo to your Imgur files.

3. Once the image is loaded to Imgur, left click on it. The image will appear in a larger format with a number of options down the right side of the page. Click on 'Copy' beside the 'Direct Link' option.

4. Now your image will be ready to insert into your post. Open a separate window and go to the thread where you want to post your photo. Start your post if you haven't already. When you get to the point where you want to insert your image, left click on the icon in the tool bar that looks like a mountain with the sun above it. You will get a window that says 'Edit Image'. Right click in the top box and select 'Paste'. The image address will be inserted into the box. Next click 'OK' and your image should show up in the body of your post.

Apparently there are easier ways to post a photo, but this method works well for me.

I look forward to seeing your photos.

Cheers!!

Dave

Thanks guys. I hope to get them up soon. Not a tech guy by any means. However I like wiring up a ctc panel.
