Just wondering if the size of the layout is right on the November 2019 HO Pennsy model RR. The plan says 24" grid. Overall plan says 9' 5" x 23' 6". But if it's a 24" grid it looks more like 35' x 14'+. Maybe I'm reading it wrong.
I'd wager the grid being wrong. If you look at photo 3, you can see the fascia at the narrowest point of the layout. If the grid is accurate, then the river should be two feet wide at that point. Judging from the size of the cars in the train, it isn't a foot wide.
Looks like the grid is 18", woulc scale out about right. If it is 24" then the two guys in the layout plan are VERY WIDE!
