Am I dreaming? or does anyone remember an article in MR a couple years ago about modelling wheat fields?

Or does anyone have an hints on how to model wheat fields?

According to the Index of Magazines there is one citation for wheat, but in Railroad Model Craftsman:

Amber waves of grain Railroad Model Craftsman, March 1981, page 62
( "BALL, DON JR.", GRASS, SCENERY, WHEAT, RMC )
