Thanks Mike, how'd you do that? I could not get it to show.

If this is your photo hosting site, there should be other ways for you to post, but what I described pretty much works on any picture, no matter where it's located.
Thank you sooo much. Although I sit in front of a computer 8 hours a day (for the last 20 years), I am still mystified by some apps. :)
I'm not seeing anything. Must be one of the few picture hosts that don't show at work. Most do however.

Nice work!

I'm just a dude with a bad back having a lot of fun with model trains, and finally building a layout!
That is a very pleasing scene. Great work!

Living the dream.
Looks really nice!
Okay, you have to tell us how you did the backdrop in the last picture! It is amazing!
Thanks,
Hello All,
Looks great!
Hope this helps.
"Uhh...I didn’t know it was 'impossible' I just made it work...sorry"
Damn, keep forgetting to check at home where the photo host being used isn't blocked. Most aren't blocked at work but this one is.

N.C.&St.LAll the backdrops on this layout came from William Prusso at TRAINJUNKIES.
It looks very good. Thank you.
Finally checking topic at home where the photo host isnt blocked.
Looks great. Good back drops really make a huge difference. The rest looks very good too. The only thing missing is a comlete ballast job on the track.
Oh I agree. My philosphy on ballast is different than what the magazines tell us, I get ALL of the scenery on both sides of the track done, and THEN I put on the "finishing" ballast. That way it looks like the land was there first, and then they laid track.

I have little experience with balancing but that does make sense to me, this way you don’t have to go and touch up the ballast latter after adding scenery. You may want to add a few, scattered weed in the ballast latter though, just to add to the realism.
Also are you planning on painting the track? The black ties look king of strange!

I model my railroad and you model yours! I model my way and you model yours!
Perhaps I can see the photo elsewhere. If it looks anything like the vids, wow! Curious why you changed the layout? What you posted on youtube looked award-winning!
Well, first, I dont know how to post on You Tube, may be there is another NC&StL out there, with more tech knowledge than me, (which would not take a lot ), also I keep changing the layout because I see so much better work performed from the likes of Pelle Soeburg, Dick Elwell, Grampy, and others that I just can't accept what I did. And third, most of the track in 1:1 railroads around my location have creosote coating on them, and they are black, very black. However, I do plan to paint the track and "fool" with the ties some. Thanks for all the questions. You bring up thing I overlook, and I need that.
