"A spur" is real odd term to use, since they usually come in pairs, unless, I suppose, yer a one-legged cowboy. Anyways, they git worn on yer cowboy boots an' ya dig 'em inta yer horse when ya want 'im to do sumthin'...usually, it's fer a giddy-up.
As fer sidin', purty-well any hammer jockey (he don't wear no spurs) know that that's the stuff ya put on the side o' yer ranch house...that's why it's called sidin', cause it goes on t' side.
Now can we git back to talkin' 'bout the re-dickle-ous price of this here hobby?
