Building the N scale Thompson River Canyon Sub.

My brother-in-law died almost a year ago. Before he died of cancer, he had hoped to create an N scale layout of his favorite railran location, the Thompson River Canyon. Since he couldn't do that, I am doing it for him and in his memory. It's a simple display layout that I will publically unveil at the end of the month at our local train show (the last public event he attended last year before dying a few weeks later).

Anyway, the layout is moving along, and I have started a series about its construction; I've completed three posts. You can find the third post on my blog at  http://cprailmmsub.blogspot.ca/2015/09/n-scale-thompson-river-canyon-3-getting.html

The introduction to the series is here: http://cprailmmsub.blogspot.ca/2015/09/introducing-n-scale-thompson-river.html

What a nice way to honor your BIL and what a spectacular layout this will be!

I´ll be watching it progress!

John, that is a very nice thing you are doing. And it looks great.
