To build on Sand #2
Posted by beehunter on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 10:18 AM

Now people all of this is new to me . I am coming back to this Hobby after a wee lapse.A mere 35 year gap not worth mentioning really.

Okay, 5/8" plus 1/2" plus frame of 1x3". Outside edge to be covered with shoe/crown molding. Use screws/glue.

Prime, I have a quart of KILZ left over from another project. Home Imp. Center had paint on sale $5.00 a gallon, discontinued color ( med. dark brown).

Four H/D 14" shelf brackets set on 16" centers.

Now waiting on Homosote to arrive, so I can start work.

Yes people you are correct Matthew.

Now I will be running alot more ideas by each of you so do not be shy about telling me "THATS NUTS" and will not work.

To paraphrase a famous quote it has been said about me " He has one of the finest minds in the 20th century."
