Posted by nickyb on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 3:25 PM

I have learned allot from my first layout and decided to tear down and start again. After reading August issue of M.R. about Multilevel layouts. I have the bench work up now I will be finishing my plan But, What is the best way to transfer your plan to show here in your post.

The benchwork photos are nice and things cenetainly look sturdy, but without an idea of the plan being followed its a bit hard to comment beyond some generalities.  One thing I will note is that it looks like the sky blue color on the walls is a bit too intense - though you may have something else in mind in terms of a backdrop color.  Keep in mind that the 'sky' will tend to be washed out due to disatnce (somewhat loosely related to scale as well), humidity, time of year and locale.

BTW, the current MR has some good pointers on multi-deck construction and Tony Koester's (sp?) book on this topic is worthwhile too.
