Hey guys,
Please find attached two pictures of my new layout as well as two plans for the visible and hidden parts of it.
I kindly request your help on how to finish the passing station at the topmost level, I have some doubts

Thanks in advance.M1jpg
hi,
it s hard to draw you a plan, cause i do not know which brand of track you are using.
Making a plan with flex-track and e.g.peco switches might turn out quite differently.
IMHO your turntable lead has to be made much longer, and should include goodies like an ash-pit, facilities for coal, sand and lubricants.
I would add a freight house (depot) and a trans-loading facility (team) between cars and trucks.
The spacing between parallel tracks is 2" on this plan, less then you have, but creates additional space. Cutting standard turnouts and fitting them into place is probably needed.
As it is draw a very short engine can pull cars on the turntable and push them on to the service track.
You could win some space by building the service track just above the turntable lead, and connect it with the team / freight-house track.

Hi,
Thanks Paul,
My track is Fleischmann Profi, I'm afraid I'm not so skilled to cut and customize points/switches.
Interesting to move the station to the front, and model just the front of it, but a problem arises, this is the main point of view of the railroad despite being the highest point, the reson is that I can see (not imagine and no need to train detectors) where the trains are on the curve yard that it is at the same time the common return to both directions of the main line.
I'm seriosly thinking to eliminate the turntable and just make a small freight house and /or a team track.
Thanks again.
