I just finished making a road and parking lots out of Creatology Fun Foam.  I cuts easily, takes paint well and comes in many colors. It is about 1/16" thick and comes in 12" x 18" sheets. Easily gluse down or use double sided tape.

The Fun Foam is available from Michaels craft and art stores. http://www.michaels.com/

Hope this helps

I think I just used the same thing.  Got it at Michaels, sheets about 12x18".   I used the black sheets for the roads and the white sheets (painted concrete) for the sidewalks

Easy to use, cheap, worth a try.   Maybe you'll like it, maybe not.  Be sure to check out the art/craft stores when you get a chance.   Lots of good stuff.

.030" styrene sheets form Evergreen painted flat black. Yellow and white 1/8" pin stripe for centerlines and outside lines.

Being old is when you didn't loose it, it's that you just can't remember where you put it.
