Using Design Software
Posted by Johnnny_reb on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 9:01 PM

I have been running my latest layout design in the design software and have worked out the operational bugs and find that by doing so I can refine my layout to make it operate better before I lay track, thus saving both time and money.

In short this post is to point out that by running your virtual RailRoad in the design software you can work out most of the problems before building and not waste money or time. But as the more experienced modelers will know you can not find all the operational problems before laying track. That some problems will only show up once the track work is laid.
