I only used half of my 20x20 "garage" for my layout. I use the other half for my work bench/computer/stereo.
I am sorry to say that I didn't get a chance to do this one because I got very busy at work. I look forward to see the plans that were submitted.

Well, the good news is my Network guy just left and everything is working full capcity. The bad news is I'm still having a little difficulty with the time thingy. With any luck, I'll get something done this weekend.

Which brings us to the age old question...does anyone use their garage for their cars?(other than people with cars that cost more than the house they live in?)

It depends on where you live. In Alaska, if I didn't get the car under cover during the snow storms, it took extra time to get out after the storm. And if you live inland in Alaska, you need to plug in the block heater. Even in Juneau, I had problems with the transmission not working for a while after a very cold night in the car port.
Now in Monument, Colorado, the hail, covenants, and the snow all give good reason to redesign the garage to park the vehicles inside. I've spent a small fortune on shelving to line the garage walls.
