Sunrise N-Scale Signals

I'm considering (finally, that is) installing some electrified signals
along my N-scale main at a few well-chosen locations.

I like what I see in the detail and appearance of the Sunrise
Enterprises signal kits. Their single-target signals are exactly
what I'm looking for, design-wise.

From Walther's description, these require a voltage-lowering
resistor be installed for powering the LED.

Does anyone have an opinion (good or bad) on Sunrise
Enterprise signals?
