It's hard t' b'lieve that there's already 29 replies to this here question, and nobody's come up with the dee-finitive answer...until now! Stick out tongue

"A spur" is real odd term to use, since they usually come in pairs, unless, I suppose, yer a one-legged cowboy. Anyways, they git worn on yer cowboy boots an' ya dig 'em inta yer horse when ya want 'im to do sumthin'...usually, it's fer a giddy-up.

As fer sidin', purty-well any hammer jockey (he don't wear no spurs) know that that's the stuff ya put on the side o' yer ranch house...that's why it's called sidin', cause it goes on t' side.

Now can we git back to talkin' 'bout the re-dickle-ous price of this here hobby? Smile, Wink & Grin

Hey, listen up, cowboy. How 'bout you head back to the campfire with your cattle rustlin' buddies? When we want your opinion on railroading, we will ask for it.Cowboy

That does it!  I'm giving you nothing but 1980's TYCO as punishment.  I'll be holding onto your good trains till you learn to behave!
